Your friendly neighbourhood planner here, with the inaugural post to The Planning Notepad. First of all, welcome, and thanks for taking the time out of your day to visit. Hopefully you'll find my scribbles and scrawls interesting, insightful, and worth a read.

The Planning Notepad is meant to be just that - one of those small pads of lined paper, post-it notes, or even that black book - where you can jot down ideas and things that you find interesting. Whenever I read or see something interesting happening in the world of advertising, mainstream consumer trends, or even the social issues of today, I'm going to scrawl a note about it here. And if one of those scribbles strikes you as especially interesting, please feel free to add your own notes to the notepad and join in the conversation.
